A condo in The Atlantic – close to activities and fine dining – provided a unique adult retreat for Tyrone Talifer and Donya Redmond.
The couple’s daughter, Catherine Talifer, was visiting Atlanta in 2008 when she suggested her Midwestern parents take a trip to the South to check out Atlantic Station.
“We live in Michigan and wanted a relaxing adult getaway that had everything that we wanted at our disposal. We came down for a visit after she told us, and have been here ever since,” Tyrone said.
The concierge and access to shopping and dining added to the experience and convenience of choosing The Atlantic, a high-rise condominium on 17th Street. In their condo, they have custom cabinetry and tile work in the kitchen, and Swarovski Crystal lights in the kitchen as well as the dining room added an extra touch of elegance.
“We did all of the interior design ourselves,” Tyrone said. “We chose earth tones and ivories because they have always been our favorite colors and make the home cozy and inviting.”
