Views of downtown Atlanta and Buckhead sold Pedro Ayestaran Diaz on his condo, while the interior allows him to display items he has collected over the years from estate sales and antique markets.
Diaz is from Caracas, Venezuela, where he worked in the antique restoration business before moving to the U.S. in 1999.
“I developed a passion for sculpture, particularly metals made in the early 1900s and the Art Nouveau style,” he said. “My home reflects who I am. I have a passion for collecting and the history behind the collections.”
After buying the Horizon at Wildwood condo, near I-75 and I-285 in Cobb County, two years ago, Diaz also spent about $900 on renovations including adding hardwood floors in the bedroom.
