PHOTOS: New vaccine panel gathers in Atlanta as CDC advocates protest
Protesters gathered at the CDC on Wednesday as the center's new vaccine advisory committee met in Atlanta. The carefully chosen group of 17 scientists and doctors from the committee’s last meeting were ousted two weeks ago by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Since then, Kennedy has only chosen half of their replacements.
