Chick-fil-A is giving away free sandwiches to America's veterans.

Restaurant locations in metro Atlanta are celebrating Veteran's Day with "Military Appreciation Night" on Wednesday, Nov. 11.

Active or retired military with proof of service are eligible to receive one of three offers for free for themselves and each immediate family member:

  • Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich Meal (original or grilled)
  • Chick-fil-A Nuggets Meal (8-count)
  • Chick-fil-A Nuggets Kid's Meal (4-count)

The offer is only valid for dine-in customers in participating Atlanta-area restaurants on Nov. 11 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

“We would like to take this opportunity to extend our gratitude to those who have served our nation, along with their families, in the best way we know how – with great food," Zach Thomas, franchise operator of the Chick-fil-A at Macland Crossing, said in a press release.

This is the first "Military Appreciation Night" in Atlanta, according to Chick-fil-A, which is headquartered in the city.

Chick-fil-A has a map of all the restaurant locations in the metro Atlanta area, but was unable to specify which locations will or won't be participating.
