RICHMOND HILL, Ga. (AP) — A children's fishing tournament will be able to proceed at a pond this weekend without reptilian interference, thanks to a crew from a reality TV show.
With cameras rolling on Thursday, two of the stars of the "Billy the Exterminator" show arrived at the pond at J.F. Gregory Park, where the city of Richmond Hill is hosting a children's fishing tournament Saturday.
"Billy the Exterminator" is Billy Bretherton, who hosts the A&E network show. He, his brother Ricky and Jack Douglas, who is licensed to trap nuisance animals in Georgia, removed an alligator from the pond.
The alligator and others the crew caught that day were released into rivers.
