Show House gives first look at St. Regis residences

The 39th annual Atlanta Symphony Associates' Decorators' Show House and Garden Tour, running April 18-May 10, will be held in three of the soon-to-be opened St. Regis Residences in Buckhead with 27 of the Southeast's most celebrated interior designers participating.

Visitors can peer into the lives of the uber-swanky beginning April 18 when the Atlanta Symphony Associates' 39th annual Decorators' Show House and Garden Tour opens inside the St. Regis, Buckhead's newest luxury address. The event offers three homes -- traditional, transitional and contemporary residences -- created by 27 of the city's top interior designers and landscape architects. This contemporary living room was designed by William Peace of Peace Design.

John Oetgen of Oetgen Design created this white-washed dining room in the contemporary condo. With views of Buckhead just outside the windows, he brought elements of the garden indoors with colorful orchids and lanterns for overhead lighting. Crisp golds and charcoals frame this master bedroom in the contemporary unit. Designer Shon Parker created the sleeping area, while Jill VanTosh & Associates created the gallery-like sitting room in the background.

The highlight of the home is the glittering terrace by Boxwoods Gardens & Gifts, complete with clear Louis Ghost chairs, glass chandelier, outdoor-friendly velvet upholstered round settee and weather-resistant drapery framing a tree-filled view of Buckhead.

Bob Brown's living room incorporates modern elements such as lucite tables with antique bookcases and artfully hung rustic horns. The designer said he wants to show people that high-rise living doesn't mean cold, stark modern furniture, but should mix in all the elements they love.

Designer Carole Weaks created this cozy study off the transitional unit's living room with grasscloth wallcovering, subdued color palette and gold accents.

The gentleman's guest room, designed by Kay Douglass and Dixie Peeples, is among the more surprising spaces with flanking charcoal daybeds and funky accents of kelly green in the drapery, bedding and oversized lantern hanging above coral.

Design Galleria created each of the unit's kitchens, including this glittering, open galley kitchen in the traditional unit.

The brown and cream living room in the traditional unit was designed by James Essary and Bill Murphy.

Designer Tish Mills is among those who created the traditional space, though her guest bedroom offers a new take on the classic style with a mix of metals in material and tone.

Patricia McLean created this traditional master bedroom, complete with canopy bed, by dividing it into a sleeping, reading and resting areas.
