India's Tata Motors introduces the $2,000 Nano car

MEET THE Nano. No, not THAT Nano -- this is the Nano car being introduced by Tata Motors of India.

THE NANO is small, snub-nosed and (sort of) cute. At only $2,000, it will hit India's streets in July.

TATA CHAIRMAN Ratan Tata introduces the Nano in Mumbai. It's missing a lot of features that Americans are accustomed to, like air conditioning and airbags, but it reportedly gets 55 mpg. And buyers can pay extra for amenities.

JOURNALISTS LOOK at the Tata Nano Europa at the 79th Geneva International Motor Show in March. The Europa is a more stylized version for a European audience.

WORKERS KEEP the Nano under wraps till press time in Mumbai.
