An online retailer of goods for food services companies plans to open a distribution center in the Albany area and create 150 jobs over the next three years, according to a state news release issued Thursday.

Pennsylvania-based WebstaurantStore, which sells restaurant equipment and other supplies, plans to start hiring in December, according to the release from Gov. Nathan Deal’s office.

The new South Georgia facility will primarily serve the Southeast U.S., and help in the company’s goal of one-day delivery, the release said.
