Every year, brand strategists at WPP and Kantar Millward Brown publish a report on the top 100 most valuable global brands.

To determine the top brands of 2017, analysts examined more than three million customer interviews across 14 categories.

Tech giants Google, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon and Facebook dominated the top five global brands.

Then came AT&T, Visa, Tencent, IBM and the only restaurant group in the top 20, McDonald’s.
