NCR’s plans for its headquarters in Midtown Atlanta could be getting bigger.

The Fortune 500 maker of software, ATMs and self-service kiosks is working on a potential second phase of the project, people familiar with the matter told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

NCR and its developer, Cousins Properties, are considering a second office building next to an approximately 20-story tower currently rising at Eight and Spring streets near Technology Square.

Details about the size of the potential second phase were not immediately known.

NCR officials declined to comment Wednesday.

A message left with a spokeswoman for Cousins Properties was not immediately returned.

NCR made big news in January 2015 when it announced plans to move from Gwinnett County to Midtown to be closer to the faculty and student talent at Georgia Tech.
