SunTrust, Delta team up for SkyMiles check card
SunTrust check card customers will soon be able to earn Delta miles.
The two Atlanta companies announced Monday that they are teaming up to offer a SkyMiles check card beginning next week — the first time Delta has offered mileage-earning opportunities through a check card.
Customers using the SkyMiles check card earn miles every time they make a payment using their signature. Transactions using a PIN number for authorization are not included in the program.
Several cards are available, including a "classic" check card, where customers earn one mile for every $2 purchased, carrying a $20 annual fee; and a "platinum" card that earns one mile for every $1 purchased. Paul Donsky
