Occupation: Occupational therapist/community rehab director for Heritage Healthcare at Arbor Terrace in Decatur.
What I'm wearing: "A La Moda fringed embroidered tunic over white linen pants from Banana Republic and black-and-white wedge shoes. A tunic is great to wear shopping or just hanging out on a breezy day, or it will make a great swimsuit coverup."
Signature style: "Professional, classic and chic. I like to be stylish and yet comfortable in my clothes. Because I am not a scrubs kind of girl, when I have to treat patients I do not have a problem putting on my lab coat and flats. However, when I have to sit in meetings or conferences, then it's on with the jacket and pumps."
Best finds: "Stuart Weitzman purple snakeskin pumps at Finders Keepers [$80] and a brown pair of Stuart Weitzman gladiator platform heels I found on eBay for $40. I went to Dillard's half-off sale and bought four pairs of shoes for $17 to $40, when they were regularly priced up to $150. Anything I can find on sale."
Fashion weakness: "Shoes, shoes and more shoes."
Favorite stores: "H&M, Fox's in Buckhead, Finders Keepers, Back By Popular Demand, eBay, Nine West, Macy's and Century 21 in New York City."
Fashion inspiration: "I get my fashion inspiration from magazines such as Essence, Ebony, Glamour and InStyle."
Pet peeve: "Too-tight tops gapping open at the buttons. And too-short T-shirts or tops that show the midriff when you reach up or bend down, especially in a professional setting."
Best fashion compliment: "It comes from my husband and son. They may not say a word, but their look or expression says they like what I am wearing."
