Sandy Schwartz, president of Manheim, an Atlanta-based provider of vehicle remarketing services, also will become president of AutoTrader Group, Cox Enterprises announced Monday.

AutoTrader is the nation’s largest digital automotive marketplace and provider of marketing and software solutions to dealerships across the country, according to Cox.

Schwartz, who joined Cox in 1985, has been president of Manheim since 2011. He is also former president of Cox AutoTrader, comprised of both AutoTrader.com and AutoTrader Publishing.

Chip Perry, president and chief executive officer of AutoTrader Group, will leave the company effective May 1 after a 15-year career with Cox.

Cox is a multibillion dollar communications, media and automotive services company. Manheim is owned by Cox, and AutoTrader is majority-owned by Cox, which also operates The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
