Norcross-based RockTenn, a provider of packaging products and paperboard, said it is acquiring American Greetings Corp.’s display fixture company.

The company, AG Industries, specializes in retail display design and production services.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquired company, known as AGI In-Store, has about 300 workers in Forest City, N.C. RockTenn has about 26,000 employees.

Earlier this year RockTenn announced it would acquire Simpson Tacoma Kraft Paper Mill in Washington state for about $343 million. The mill makes various paper grades including containerboard, specialty kraft paper and pulp. Simpson Tacoma Kraft Paper Mill also sells electricity from a 55-megawatt fuel cogeneration facility.
