Regions Bank to add branch in new Midtown headquarters
Regions Bank will open a branch early next year in the Midtown building that is becoming its new Georgia-South Carolina regional headquarters.
The branch in the lobby of Atlantic Center Plaza at West Peachtree and 14th streets will open in early 2012, Regions said. The bank announced earlier this year that it will move more than 200 employees scattered across metro Atlanta to the Midtown high rise. The move expected to be completed in February, a bank spokeswoman said.
Regions also is installing its name across the top of the tower, joining rivals like Wells Fargo and BB&T with prominent Midtown signage.
