Post Properties' apartment management president, Thomas L. Wilkes, will leave the company at the end of the year as part of a restructuring, according to a news release from the company.

Wilkes is also an executive vice president for Atlanta-based Post, one of the country's largest developers and operators of multifamily communities. He will not be replaced, the release said; his duties will be divided between two people, S. Jamie Teabo, senior vice president of property management, and Charles A. Konas, executive vice president of construction and development, according to the release.

The move was announced Tuesday morning as part of “an overall restructuring intended to streamline its business and reduce costs.”

“Post expects to incur a charge in the fourth quarter related to settling its contractual obligations with Mr. Wilkes and in connection with the overall restructuring,” the release said.
