Norcross plant cited for exposing workers to dangers
A Nocross company has been cited by OSHA for exposing workers to numerous serious hazards, including chemicals, hot oil pipes and uncovered holes in the work floor.
The Occupational Health and Safety Administration said it found 18 serious violations at Panolam Industries, a plastics and liminates fabrication company. Among them, some temporary workers were not trained on
The federal agency inspected the plant in November after receiving a complaint. It has proposed penalties of about $80,000.
