Information technology infrastructure firm, Internap, is moving its headquarters to Perimeter Center from downtown Atlanta to make room for more data capacity and new employees. It has hired more than 25 Atlanta-area employees this year and still has a few openings. The company has 230 Atlanta employees.

Early next year, the Atlanta firm will move into new offices in One Ravinia Drive, the 17-story office building developed in 1985 by Hines. The firm will lease 60,000 square feet there.

Internap will keep its space downtown and convert it to 31,000 square feet of available data center capacity. The space is in Cousins Properties’ American Cancer Society building at 250 Williams Street.

"Internap’s move to a new corporate headquarters will allow us to support employee growth and address the increasing demand for intelligent IT Infrastructure services,” Eric Cooney, Internap’s chief executive officer, said in a statement.
