Roller coaster fans, the wait is over.

Universal Orlando on Monday revealed new details of the redesigned Incredible Hulk Coaster at Islands of Adventure.

In a blog post, Universal Creative producer Neil Engel said the ride will reopen in the late summer this year with a completely revamped experience.

“From the moment you walk up to the beloved coaster, you’ll see the huge changes that were made to the attraction” Engel wrote.

A new statue of the Hulk will greet visitors. Engel said in the blog post that the figure of the Hulk is hoisting pieces of track salvaged from the original ride.

The ride also has a new story: A general is asking for volunteers to undergo an experimental process called “Hulk-a-fication” — yes, you read that right. So, luckily, some of the ride’s original playfulness stuck around.

Sticking with the research theme of the new story, the ride’s queue has been updated to look like a military science facility. New ride vehicles feature in-seat audio — think of the seats for the popular Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit coast on the Universal Studios side of the resort.
