Home Depot has opened its second store in the Virgin Islands.

The store is one of nine scheduled to open this year, and the only one in the Virgin Islands. There are six new stores scheduled for Mexico, one in Canada and one other in the U.S.

The Atlanta home improvement retailer said the new store employs about 100 people.

Home Depot has 2,246 stores internationally.
