Haverty Furniture Companies is spending $2.4 million to update its metro Atlanta showrooms, with plans to redesign showrooms in other states, as well.

The Atlanta company is updating its visual merchandising and display program with new, brighter colors and signs. In a statement, Havertys president and CEO Clarence Smith said the new layout is more informative and engaging.

The design incorporates customer reviews and product ratings.
