A new indoor trampoline park will open in Johns Creek this May, the first of several planned for metro Atlanta, a company representative said Friday.
Get Air Atlanta North Trampoline Park is expected to hire 50 to 60 employees for the 35,000-square-foot complex near the intersection of McGinnis Ferry Road and Medlock Bridge Road near Johns Creek Town Center, according to Manager Paul Carrin.
Carrin, an investor in the family-owned business, said applications will be available and interviews will begin around the beginning of May.
“We will be looking for party hosts, greeters and trampoline controllers,” Carrin said. Get Air owns 15 other trampoline parks, mainly in California, Arizona, Utah and New England.
The Johns Creek center will feature wall-to-wall trampolines, foam pits and dodgeball courts. It will have a two-lane ninja obstacle course and James Bond-like laser maze.
Carrin said the company is in negotiations for additional locations near Stone Mountain and in Atlanta near Georgia Tech. “Stone Mountain could be as soon as August of this year, and the downtown location will happen before the end of the year,” the manager said.
Get Air will charge jumpers by the hour, starting at $12. Jumps for children 5 and under, however, start at $8 an hour.
