When the $1.5 million expansion in Willacoochee is completed, the plant will employ 160, according to the state Department of Economic Development. The town is about three hours south of Atlanta, just southeast of Tifton.

Freedom Trailers produces cook and concession trailers. The 44,000-square-foot plant expansion is expected to be completed in June.
