Payment processing firm First Data Corp. announced a senior management change replacing its chief financial officer, and vice president of global operations and technology.

Ray Winborne, the Atlanta company's controller was named acting chief financial officer and Kevin Kern who was promoted to the global operations and technology post from his current role as chief technology officer. They replace Pat Shannon, who was First Data's chief financial officer and Robert "Bob" DeRodes, who headed global operations and technology. Also leaving is Grace Chen Trent, vice president of global communications.

“We are very appreciative of Grace, Bob and Pat for their many contributions to First Data and wish them well in their future endeavors," Joe Forehand, First Data's chairman and chief executive said in a statement. "I am excited to put in place a senior leadership team comprised of highly dedicated and experienced executives all aligned with the long-term success of First Data.”
