‘The Darkest Minds’
The sci-fi thriller is based on Alexandra Bracken’s young adult trilogy and is being produced by Shawn Levy and directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson (“Kung Fu Panda”). It tells the story of Ruby, a 16-year-old girl who survives a pandemic that annihilates most of America’s children and teenagers. She and other survivors develop superpowers and must go on the run from the government.
What are they looking for?
Young people age 12-20 of any ethnicity are needed.
When are they filming?
Filming will take place in Stone Mountain on the following dates:
May 10 – day shoot – mandatory
May 11 – day shoot – not mandatory
May 18-19 – night shoots – mandatory
May 22-26 – night shoots – not mandatory
How much does it pay?
Pay is $64 for eight hours of work.
