Now casting: ‘The Darkest Minds’ seeking photo doubles

Are you ready to make your mark on Atlanta's film and TV industry? Are you the next Tyler Perry? ATL is in need of young stars. Check out the Peach City's latest casting call for your chance at fame.

‘The Darkest Minds’

The sci-fi thriller is based on Alexandra Bracken’s young adult trilogy and is being produced by Shawn Levy and directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson (“Kung Fu Panda”). It tells the story of Ruby, a 16-year-old girl who survives a pandemic that annihilates most of America’s children and teenagers. She and other survivors develop superpowers and must go on the run from the government.

What are they looking for?

The following types of thin-framed people, age 18-25 of any ethnicity, are needed as photo doubles:

When are they filming?

Filming will take place at Gwinnett Place mall on May 3.

How much does it pay?

Pay is $150 for 12 hours of work.
