‘The Darkest Minds

The sci-fi thriller is based on Alexandra Bracken’s young adult trilogy and is being produced by Shawn Levy and directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson (“Kung Fu Panda”). It tells the story of Ruby, a 16-year-old girl who survives a pandemic that annihilates most of America’s children and teenagers. She and other survivors develop superpowers and must go on the run from the government.

What are they looking for?

Kids ages 12-19, with fit frames and of any ethnicity, are sought to portray members of a “kid army.” Fresh faces only are needed.

When are they filming?

Filming takes place in Stone Mountain on June 6, and you’ll need to get a fitting on June 1 or 2.

How much does it pay?

The pay is $64 for eight hours.
