Now casting: ‘MacGyver’ seeking baseball fans | Atlanta film jobs

Are you ready to make your mark on Atlanta’s film and TV industry? Are you the next Tyler Perry? ATL is in need of young stars. Check out the Peach City’s latest casting call for your chance at fame.

‘MacGyver’ is a new version of the 1985 to 1992 series that starred Richard Dean Anderson. It’s an action-adventure drama about a young man who creates a secret organization within the U.S. government and uses his scientific knowledge and ingenuity to right the wrongs of the world. Lucas Till of “X Men” – who grew up in Atlanta and graduated from Kell High School – stars as MacGyver. George Eads, who was in “CSI,” is also in the cast.

What are they looking for?

Men and women in their 20s-40s – who have not worked on “MacGyver” in the past six weeks - are needed to portray baseball fans. 

When are they filming?

Filming will take place on March 3 in Atlanta.

How much does it pay?

Pay is $68 for eight hours.
