An Alpharetta gaming company plans to expand its headquarters and add 30 jobs, state and company officials said Wednesday.

Hi-Rez Studios, makers of online game “Global Agenda” and “Tribes: Ascend,” plans to invest $10 million into the project and grow its total headcount to more than 100 by 2015

“Hi-Rez Studios newest expansion is not only an investment in the community, but it is an investment for the future of the digital entertainment industry in our state,” state Department of Economic Development Commissioner Chris Carr said in a news release.

The release said Hi-Rez’s expansion will include software developers and digital artists and customer support staff.
