For the second time in less than a month, Coca-Cola Co. has withdrawn its application filed with the Federal Trade Commission plan to acquire the North American business of bottler Coca-Cola Enterprises.

Coca-Cola Enterprises, the world's biggest bottler of Coke products, said the transaction is still expected to close in the last three months of the year.
