The U.S. division of a Chinese packaging firm plans to expand its business in Gwinnett County and create 130 jobs over the next 10 years, county officials and the company said Monday.
Tech-Long USA makes packaging and related products for beverage companies. The Gwinnett expansion is part of the company’s move into grow market share in North and South America, according to a news release. The expansion will be located at 3400 Rivergreen Court Suite 400 in Duluth.
The Tech-Long announcement came during a visit to the company’s headquarters in Guangzhou by a trade delegation from Gwinnett. The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce’s economic development team is leading a 12-day tour of China and Korea and the organization has said four expansion announcements in Gwinnett will be made during the visit.
