Duluth-based AGCO said two executives have been elected to the farm equipment maker’s board of directors.

Roy Armes, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Cooper Tire and Rubber Co., and Michael Arnold, president and CEO of Ryerson Inc., a distributor and processor of metals, will join the AGCO board effective immediately.

Before joining Findlay, Ohio-based Cooper Tire, Armes held executive positions at appliance maker Whirlpool Corp. Arnold spent 30 years at bearings maker Timken Co. before joining Chicago-based Ryerson, where he has been president and CEO since 2011.
