Phaedra Parks has become a fount of knowledge on a wide range of topics including how to keep your kids connected to your husband while he is in prison.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star recently offered some tips on the subject to Teresa Guidice of Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Parks and Guidice both have spouses serving time in the same Fort Dix, N.J. federal prison. Joe Guidice and Apollo Nida were both convicted of fraud.

Parks said she and Guidice discussed taking their kids for a prison visit at the same time.

"We discussed that! It would be wonderful to do it because then my boys could interact with her girls and everyone would be occupied," Phaedra tells In  Touch magazine .

She also explained how she helped Teresa cope. “I just told her she has to take care of herself, her daughters and, most importantly, her health. Her girls need her now more than ever,” said Parks.

Parks has two sons Ayden, 5, and Dylan, 2, that she is raising alone while Nida serves an eight-year prison sentence he began in 2014.  While she has announced that she plans to file for divorce, she says she wants to make sure her kids have a close relationship with their father.
