Comic actor Adam Sandler is returning to Atlanta as part of an 18-city stand-up tour that comes to Chastain Park Amphitheatre (now called Cadence Bank Amphitheatre) on June 28.

Tickets go on sale Friday for the general public with pre-sales Wednesday. Prices start at $39.50 and go up to $499.50 for a VIP package.  And sorry Chastain regulars: this is a non-cooler show. No outside food or drink.

The tour is dubbed "100% Fresher." He released a Netflix comedy special last year called "100% Fresh." Netflix is also releasing Sandler's next film "Murder Mystery" June 14 starring Luke Evans and Jennifer Aniston.

The last time Sandler performed live in Atlanta was in December, 2016 at the Fabulous Fox Theatre with David Spade and Rob Schneider. Schneider will re-join Sandler for this tour.

Stand-up acts occasionally have done outdoor shows at that venue but not often. Jim Gaffigan did Chastain in 2015 and Rickey Smiley in the mid-2000s.
