Motley Crue called it a career on New Year’s Eve with a blowout at the Staples Center in L.A.
Soon, fans who weren’t able to attend the band’s last-ever show can catch it on the big screen.
Fittingly titled, “Motley Crue: The End,” the concert film will play in movie theaters nationwide at 7 p.m. June 14.
In Georgia, “The End” will be shown at Hollywood 24 in Atlanta, Avenue Forsyth 12 with IMAX in Cumming and McDonough Stadium 16 in McDonough.
Tickets for the event will go on sale Friday, May 13 at www.fathomevents.com and at participating theater box offices.
In addition to the footage from the final concert – which includes Crue staples “Girls, Girls, Girls,” “Home Sweet Home” and “Dr. Feelgood” -- the film will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the last week of the tour.
The concert portions of “The End” were directed by Christian Lamb, who has handled live filming for Def Leppard, and the interview segments were directed by Jeff Tremaine, who is helming the upcoming adaptation of Motley Crue’s “The Dirt” memoir.
