Can Kirby Smart improve upon Georgia’s No. 4 recruiting ranking?

Georgia had 17 signees in the early signing period in December. Smart said the priority in the early signing period was offensive line and wide receiver. Indeed, the Bulldogs signed four of each. What they didn't acquire were any inside linebackers. The Bulldogs still have room as they are expected to max out at 25 signees.

• Georgia Tech: Geoff Collins added 22 players to the roster during the early signing period. (One significant loss was receiver Bryce Gowdy who died in December.) Collins has targeted "offensive line and defensive line and elite running back" as priorities this period. High on the list is Dalton High running back Jahmyr Gibbs, who opted not to sign in December. » Read more

Georgia State: The Panthers nabbed a quarterback as one of 16 players who signed in the early period. Shawn Elliott is expecting to add four more players in February. » Read more

Kennesaw State: Brian Bohannon added 15 players during the early signing period. The Owls touched just about every position but still have a few needs as they must replace 13 seniors.
