In their crucial Region 4 matchup with Woodward Academy last Friday night, the Eagles rallied from a 24-7 halftime deficit and outscored Woodward 31-7 in the second half to close out a 38-31 win. The game was tied 31-31 when Jeff Haynes intercepted a Woodward pass and returned it 52 yards for the game-winning touchdown.
