In Class AAAAAAA, the Grayson boys scored a massive 83-57 win over defending champion and former No. 1 ranked McEachern and claimed the top spot in this week’s poll. Also, Peachtree Ridge dropped out of the top 10 and Cherokee makes its debut.

In Class AAAAAA, Pope rallied back from a 65-46 deficit and forced overtime, but was outscored by Johns Creek in the extra period 20-4 and fell 97-81. The loss dropped the Greyhounds to No. 6.

Undefeated Walnut Grove (10-0) replaced Villa Rica (6-3) at No. 10 in Class AAAAA and Cedar Shoals jumped to No. 4 after improving its record to 9-1. In Class AAAA, Howard replaced North Clayton in the poll and makes its debut at No. 10.

In Class AAA, Windsor Forest was defeated by unranked Benedictine on Friday 57-56 and dropped from No. 2 to No. 5. Galloway leapt from No. 8 to No. 7 in Class A-Private and MD Mohammed replaced Pinecrest Academy at No. 10.

In Class A-Public, Warren County scored 100-73 victory over former No. 8 Greene County and then defeated Johnson County 74-57 on Tuesday to improve to 4-0 and makes its debut in the poll at No. 8. Greene County exited the top 10 and Macon County also replaced Marion County at No. 10 following its 7-2 start.

The Westlake girls lead Class AAAAAAA again this week and, after a 55-52 victory over Class AAAAAA No. 1 Lovejoy at the Queens of the Hardwood event at Whitewater High School, the Lions are riding momentum into the Peach State Classic on Friday. Cherokee is No. 2 this week after a 58-30 victory over Marietta on Saturday. No. 3 Collins Hill, No. 4 Pebblebrook and No. 5 McEachern round out the top 5.

Lovejoy leads Class AAAAAA again this week and are 10-1 after a 73-45 victory over Stephenson on Tuesday on the road. Forest Park is No. 2 again this week ahead of Dacula, Glynn Academy and Valdosta.

Buford is the team to beat in Class AAAAA after victories over Norcross and Mill Creek on Friday and Saturday, respectively. Villa Rica is No. 2 ahead of Carrollton, Rome and Wayne County to round out the top 5.

Carver-Columbus is No. 1 in Class AAAA entering the Peach State Christmas Tournament at Westlake. Woodward Academy is No. 2 and ahead of Luella, Spalding and Americus-Sumter.

Savannah programs Johnson and Beach top the Class AAA poll again this week. Johnson is coming off an 82-17 victory over Groves and Beach beat Jenkins 52-17 on Friday. Jefferson is No. 3 ahead of Fannin County and Greater Atlanta Christian to round out the top of the class.

In Class AA, Early County leads ahead of Laney, Rabun County, Southwest-Macon and Josey. Wheeler County is at the top of Class A-Public with Greenville, Clinch County, Central-Talbotton and Calhoun County chasing. In Class A-Private, St. Francis is the team to beat ahead of Hebron Christian, Wesleyan, Holy Innocents’ and Mount Paran Christian.
