In Class 7A, No. 3 Mill Creek split last week’s home and away with No. 1 North Gwinnett and the poll remained the same. Alexander debuts at No. 9 in Class 6A with its 18-3 record.

In Class 5A, No. 1 Starr’s Mill took a 15-game winning streak into its eight-day Spring Break hiatus. The Panthers return to the diamond Friday night to take on the Christian Academy of Knoxville in the first of four consecutive out-of-state matchups. Elsewhere in the top 10, Locust Grove, Veterans, Buford, Jones County and Thomas County Central were off this past week.

In Class 4A, Marist rides a season-high five-game winning streak and anchors the No. 8 spot in the poll.

Redan scored back-to-back wins over Westminster to take over No. 4 in the Class 3A poll, while the Class 2A top 10 remained intact.

Tattnall Square edged Holy Innocents’ for the top spot in Class A-Private after the Golden Bears suffered a 3-2 loss to Mount Vernon Presbyterian on Thursday.
