Several high school basketball region tournaments, including four in Class AAAAAA,  have been postponed because of weather, and others might follow suit.

Cobb, Fulton, Cherokee and Forsyth counties have canceled after-school activities because of scattered snow showers. So have Floyd, Fannin, Lumpkin and White counties north of metro Atlanta.

In Clayton and DeKalb counties, outdoor activities were canceled, but indoor activities will continue as planned.

The Region 3-AAAAAA tournament at Hughes in south Fulton County will play four games on Wednesday instead of Tuesday. Region 5-AAAAAA at Etowah in Cherokee County has moved Tuesday's games to Wednesday and Wednesday's games to Thursday.

Region 6-AAAAAA at Lambert in Forsyth County has moved its four boys games scheduled for Tuesday to Thursday. Region 4-AAAAAA at Marietta in Cobb County has moved its two girls games to Wednesday and changes the times of Wednesday's boys games to accommodate them.

Regions 7- and 8-AAAAAA in Gwinnett County and 2-AAAAAA in Newton County are going on as scheduled.

Tuesday's games in Region 6-AAA, Region 7-AAA, Region 7-AAAA, Region 7-AAAAA and Region 8-AAAA  have been pushed back to Wednesday. In Class A, the Mount Paran Christian-Walker matchup was postponed, and the Region 4-AAA boys matchup between Towers and Blessed Trinity was postponed to Wednesday.
