Dacula is No. 1 in the AJC rankings for the first time. That's after spending 27 poll weeks at No. 2 in AJC, Atlanta Journal or Atlanta Constitution polls, which date to 1952. Dacula moved to the top of the Class AAAAAA rankings this week. Here are the 33 schools that have been No. 2 but never No. 1. Included are the poll weeks that each has spent at No. 2. Eight of the schools no longer exist, including Coffee County, a predecessor of the current Coffee High. Both Coffee County and Coffee have been No. 2 but not No. 1.
