In the race of the day, Westlake’s 4X100 meter relay team nipped McEachern’s for first place, 47.46 to 47.54. Marietta senior Ani Henderson won the 800 meters in 2:14.44. Dunwoody sophomore Janae Profit won the discus and the shot put with throws of 139-feet, 11-inches and 41-11, respectively. North Cobb Christian junior Synclair Savage soared 20-1 to win the long jump, while Athens Academy junior Jasmine Barrow and McEachern sophomore Jayla Brown tied for first in the triple jump at 39-10 ¼ … Carrollton sophomore Payton Phillips won the pole vault in 13-7 at the BSN Sports-Jackson High School Invitational… Richmond Hill junior Tajah Martin-Palmer won both the 100- and 300-meter hurdles in 14.82 and 46.16, respectively, at the Royal Ace Hardware Apex Invitational at Richmond Hill.
