The top three teams in Class AAAAAA took turns beating each other, leaving the rankings unchanged, but vulnerable to fluctuation in the immediate future. No. 1 Lassiter lost to No. 2 Collins Hill, but Collins Hill lost to No. 3 Brookwood. However, Brookwood hurt its chances to move up by falling to unranked West Forsyth.

Pope is making a new appearance in the top 10 at No. 8 after beating Marist and Grayson last week. Kelly Barnhill picked up the wins in both games and she tossed a no-hitter against Grayson.

In Class AAAAA, Greenbrier is up to No. 2 and Union Grove is a new arrival at No. 10. Class AAA saw Ringgold and Calhoun swap spots in second and third, respectively, after Ringgold won a head-to-head showdown last week.
