How the game was won: The Wolverines busted out in the second half, scoring 35 points to open up a big lead after entering the half up 10-0. After Prince Avenue scored to go up 24-7 late in the third quarter, Athens Academy fumbled the ensuing kickoff, which was eventually converted into an early fourth quarter Kevon Hudson touchdown to push the lead to 31-7.

Top Performers: Jared Pringle knocked home a 23-yard field goal to give Prince Avenue an early first quarter lead. …Kevon Hudson rushed for three touchdowns, scoring on runs of 75, 14 and 35 yards. …Jordan Ginnel scored on a 6-yard run. …Andrew Hayes punched on a 2-yard score. …Jordan Hightower returned an interception 40 yards for a touchdown. …Athens Academy scored in the third quarter when Drew Richardson hit Ed Ferguson on a 64-yard touchdown pass.
