How the game was won: Peachtree Ridge relied on its defense as junior and four-star linebacker Breon Dixon produced all nine of the Lions points. Dixon forced a safety with a first half sack and added a pick six in the third quarter to give the Lions a 9-3 lead. McEachern led 3-2 at the half and after Dixon's touchdown, a 50-yard reception by Tyler Simmons put the Indians in position to go for a game-winning score midway through the final quarter. The Lions defense stalled the drive, however, and McEachern was forced to settle for a 31-yard field goal with 4:37 left.
