How the game was won: A Cade Fortin to K.J. Hancock 5-yard touchdown pass with 1:32 left in the first half proved to put the Bulldogs up for good. North Gwinnett led 17-12 at the half.

Top performers: Cade Fortin finished 14-of-26 for 209 yards and three touchdown passes to go along with one interception. …Josh Imatorbhebhe caught a 60-yard score to give the Bulldogs an early 10-0 lead in the second quarter. He finished with two catches for 75 yards. …K.J. Hancock caught three passes for 42 yards and one score while Ricci Nuckles hauled in three balls for 27 yards and a score of his own. …Hillgrove was led by Hunter Arters, who threw for 412 yards and three scores on 34-of-59 passing. He also tossed two interceptions. …Jeremiah Bridges, Bingo Long and Jaylen McCollough all totaled seven catches apiece. Long gained 105 yards and one score, Bridges racked up 95 yards and one touchdown while McCollough finished with 83 yards.
