Milton football coach Adam Clack joins the "Georgia Prep Sports: From a Distance" video podcast to discuss his experience after testing positive for COVID-19.

Clack explained how he came down with symptoms during the “dead week” period. In the interest of full disclosure, he made his positive test result known to administrators, parents and athletes.

“Fulton County has been cautious for good reason,” he said.

With some mild symptoms, Clack is in self-isolation. The program, however, was allowed to continue training.

“Everything is still a week or two at a time,” Clack said.

He said administrators were able to look at his situation and made the decision to allow training to continue.

“Eventually, we are going to have to look at things case by case,” Clack said, and respond with guidelines “to minimize exposure.”

“That’s the only way we’ll be able to go forward (and have  a football season),” he said.
