How the game was won: Lovett scored 25 of the game's last 32 points and outscored visiting Hapeville Charter 11-0 in the fourth quarter to break a 14-14 tie. Brady Tindall rushed for two touchdowns, a 16-yarder that tied the score at 7-7 in the first quarter and another from one yard out with 11:45 remaining to put the Lions in front 20-14. A safety by Lovett's Ian Herbert extended the lead to eight points before Jack McGowan's 19-yard field goal made it a two-possession game.

Top performers: Tindall gained 108 yards on 19 quarterback keepers to go along with his two scores. ... Lovett's Jay Harris rushed 28 times for 171 yards and one touchdown. ... Hapeville Charter got a touchdown pass from Mack Green to Kawaan Baker and a rushing score by Calvin Coney.
