List: Teams with first playoff victories in at least three years

Five teams advanced in the playoffs for the first time this season. Those were Creekview (Class AAAAAA), New Hampstead (AAAAA), Pickens (AAAA), North Cobb Christian (A) and Hebron Christian (A). Also, Trinity Christian and Riverside Military Academy advanced for the first time in the GHSA playoffs. They had won rounds as members of the Georgia Independent School Association. Here are teams that advanced for the first time in at least three years.
