Glascock County defeated Stewart County 60-56 last week. That was the 40th time in GHSA history that a team won despite allowing 50 points. That had never happened until 1999, when Calhoun County beat Lanier County 72-50. It has happened 28 times in this decade. Glascock and Stewart, two of Georgia's smallest counties and high schools in Georgia, have played each other each of the past six seasons, with each school winning three times. Stewart County's 56 points are the most in school history, topping the mark set in 2017 in a 50-27 win over Glascock. The most Glascock has scored came in an 82-48 win over North Cobb Christian in 2011. Here are the 40 games in which both teams have scored 50 or more points.
